AUCTION FOR HARRY POTTER PHOTOS
Rare photographs from the filming of one of the Harry Potter film sagas have been put up for auction. Graham Wood secretly brought in his camera and took over 140 pictures. Cameras were not permitted on set, hence the rarity of the photos.
Steam trains were decommissioned only in 1968, and Mr Wood shoveled coal for British Rail trains, in addition to being a great enthusiast of them. Wood stated: “We weren’t supposed to take photos, but I managed to sneak some as we escorted the guests onto the platform. There were so many famous people in attendance."
The collection, featuring five Harry Potter films, is expected to fetch £2,000–£3,000.
