A man has been arrested by police in Dover after it was discovered that he was sending explicit photos to children. D.W. was arrested at his home in Dover after police officers traced him through a newly purchased smartphone. During his arrest, the 37-year-old also resisted, causing facial injuries to an officer. He has been charged with eight offences, ranging from making an indecent photograph of a child to assaulting an emergency worker. D.W. was already known to the authorities and was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Following his arrest, Detective Marie-Anne Boulton stated: “Whitehall is a prolific paedophile who has demonstrated time and time again that he poses a serious risk to young people. I am pleased that, thanks to the swift actions of the officers monitoring his behaviour, Whitehall has been returned to prison, where he can no longer pose a threat to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
