DOVER MAXI SEIZURE OF 350KG HASHISH
On October 24, during a check of vehicles coming from Calais, a van with Polish license plates was stopped and scanned, revealing more than 350 kg of hashish hidden in special compartments inside the vehicle.
The van, registered to a Polish company, was stopped around 6:00 PM, and the driver, a Polish national of approximately 40 years of age, was immediately taken into custody for questioning, and the drugs were seized.
Further investigations revealed that the shipment had departed from Spain and arrived in Liverpool.
Investigators are focusing their investigations on stopping international drug trafficking between France and England.
