REDEVELOPMENT OF SEAFRONT HOUSES IN THE PORT AREA.

Redevelopment of seafront houses in the Port area.

New restoration plans for the Dover Port seafront have been approved, including the redevelopment of 17 new homes. Jason Ransley, Head of Property at the Port of Dover, stated that the project is "very exciting" for the town and "represents a key factor in delivering the Port’s long-term Vision 2050." A Grade II listed building on Waterloo Crescent will be transformed into 17 apartments, with work set to begin in May 2026. A separate planning application has been submitted for the expansion of the Marina Curve Hotel. If approved, the hotel will increase from 90 to 158 bedrooms and will include a rooftop bar with views of the White Cliffs and Dover Castle.
